On certain trucks, the wheel nut(s) could loosen and cause the wheel(s) to detach.
A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a wheel that separates could create a road hazard for others.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you not to drive your truck until the recall repairs have been completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a dealership to arrange for an inspection of the wheels and hubs. Any damaged parts will be replaced.

On certain buses, the wheelchair tie-down retractors may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the retractor(s) may not lock automatically. If this happens, the wheelchair may not be secured correctly and could move in a crash. UPDATE - After ARBOC notified Transport Canada about this problem, they determined that there are no Canadian vehicles affected by it. Accordingly, this safety recall was withdrawn.
There is no safety risk, as there are no Canadian vehicles affected by this problem.

On certain RV trailers, incorrect wiring may have been installed for the fireplace outlet. As a result, the electrical connections may be loose and the wiring could overheat and melt.
Wiring that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to use the fireplace until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the wiring and outlet.

On certain vehicles, a component in the steering column may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears correctly when the shifter is moved. As a result, the gear shifter could feel like it is in one gear when the transmission is actually in another. This could cause sudden and unexpected vehicle movements. Note: This recall also affects certain cutaway chassis vehicles.
Sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, General Motors advises that you visually verify the gear selection in the instrument cluster when selecting a gear and always use the parking brake when parking until the recall repairs have been completed. General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the transmission control on the steering column.

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the combination meter in the instrument cluster not to display when the vehicle is started. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 12.3-inch display.
Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the combination meter software.

What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk Ford advises you not to drive your vehicle until the recall repairs are completed. Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a dealer to arrange for an inspection. The dealer will repair the front steering knuckle(s), as necessary.

Seats And Restraints

On certain vehicles, there could be a problem with the driver and/or front passenger seatbelt pretensioner(s). As a result, the airbag warning light could turn on, and the seatbelt pretensioners could deploy without a crash. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall nos. 2024-084 and 2025-164. Vehicles that were repaired under those recalls also require this inspection or repair.
Seat belt pretensioners that don't work properly could create an increased risk of injury. Additionally, seat belt pretensioners that deploy without a crash could startle the driver and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver and front passenger seatbelt retractors.

On certain RV trailers, the shock bolts may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could break. If this happens, the bolts and washers could separate and fall from the trailer. Note: This recall only affects certain trailers equipped with Curt touring coil suspensions.
Parts that fall from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

Label
26 May 2026Transport Canada recall 2026254
On certain motorhomes, the occupant and cargo carrying capacity label was incorrectly printed on a white label, when it should have been printed on a yellow label. Regulations require that the occupant and cargo carrying capacity label be printed with black text on a yellow label.
A label that is the wrong colour could cause confusion and could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Tiffin will mail a new occupant and cargo carrying capacity label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the label, you can contact Tiffin dealer to have it installed free of charge.
