What is wrong

On a small number of vehicles, it is possible that a clip for a head curtain airbags may not be secured correctly. As a result, the airbags may not inflate properly in a crash.

Why it matters

An airbag that does not work properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the securing clip on the head curtain airbag. The head curtain airbag module will be replaced, if necessary.
