Transport Canada recall 2002127 · manufacturer campaign RE0201

9 July 2002

Transport Canada lists: Arnage 1999–2002 · Arnage 4 1999–2002 · Limousine 1999–2002 · Park Ward 1999–2002 · and 1 more

What is wrong

On certain vehicles the low pressure brake fluid feed pipe between the master cylinder and remote reservoir has the potential to trap or retain air. This air could enter the master cylinder causing excessive pedal travel and partial failure of the primary circuit, increasing the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace both hoses and brake fluid reservoir.

Transport Canada recall 2001074 · manufacturer campaign RE0101

30 March 2001

Transport Canada lists: Arnage 2000–2001

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, improperly manufactured fuel feed and return hoses were installed. The position of the crimp securing the rubber hose material to the steel quick release connection may have been improper. If the crimp is not properly position, fuel leakage could occur in the engine compartment. If an ignition source is present, this fuel leakage could result in a fire.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace all feed and return hoses.

Fuel System

Transport Canada recall 2000098 · manufacturer campaign RE 0001

14 April 2000

Transport Canada lists: Arnage 2000

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the fuel feed return line in the engine compartment could wear through as the result of repeated contact with the exhaust manifold as the vehicle is driven. If the pipe is worn through, fuel may escape from the pipe and possibly ignite if it contacts the exhaust system.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will check the clearance between the fuel return pipe and the exhaust manifold and, if necessary, reposition the pipe. A worn pipe will be replaced with a new pipe which will be properly positioned.
