What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the hood ornament's retracting mechanism may become corroded. This may lead to the hood ornament not retracting as intended when a vehicle is involved in a crash, and may increase the risk of injury to a pedestrian if struck.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the retractable mechanism.
