Suspension
Transport Canada recall 2026089 · manufacturer campaign N252537580
26 February 2026
Transport Canada lists: Regal 2012–2013
What is wrong
On certain vehicles, the protective coating on the rear suspension toe links may chip away. If this happens, the metal can rust and the toe links could break. A broken toe link can affect vehicle stability and could cause a loss of control. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recalls 2020-615, 2021-510 and 2021-785. This recall only affects vehicles that were originally sold or ever registered in areas of heavy road salt usage (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador).
Why it matters
A loss of vehicle stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do
General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear suspension toe links and adjuster fasteners.
