What is wrong

Certain vehicles (not involved in recall 98-150), may experience a windshield wiper failure due to cracked solder joints on the controller circuit board. If this were to occur in a severe weather situation, driver's visibility could be reduced, which could result in a vehicle crash without prior warning.

What the dealer will do

Dealer will replace defective wiper motor until 7 years or 112 000 km from date vehicle was originally placed into service or for those vehicles currently outside of this coverage, until March 31 2004.

What is wrong

THE LEFT HAND LOWER CONTROL ARM TO FRAME REAR NUT MAY BE TIGHTENED BELOW THE SPECIFIED TORQUE. THIS MAY ALLOW THE ATTACHMENT BOLT TO LOOSEN AND SUBSEQUENTLY FATIGUE AND BREAK. BOLT BREAKAGE COULD RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE LEFT HAND CONTROL ARM FROM THE FRAME CAUSING LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.

DEALERS WILL TIGHTEN THE LEFT HAND LOWER CONTROL ARM TO FRAME REAR NUT TO THE PROPER TORQUE SPECIFICATION.

What is wrong

THESE VANS MAY HAVE FUEL LINES ATTACHED TO THE FUEL TANK WITH LESS THAN THE SPECIFIED TORQUE. OVER TIME THESE FUEL LINES MAY LOOSEN TO THE POINT OF ALLOWING FUEL TO LEAK FROM THE LINES WHEN THE FUEL PUMP IS OPERATING. IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, AN UNDERHOOD FIRE COULD OCCUR.

DEALERS WILL LOWER THE TANK AND TIGHTEN THE FUEL LINES TO THE PROPER TORQUE.
