Transport Canada recall 2025340 · manufacturer campaign HQ32
19 June 2025
Transport Canada lists: Accord 2013
What is wrong
On certain vehicles, the paint on the front axle shafts could become damaged. As a result, the axle shaft(s) could corrode. If this happens, the axle shaft(s) could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall HO54 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-609).
Why it matters
A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create a risk of a crash or an injury.
What the dealer will do
Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the axle shaft(s).
