What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the trailer tow module could fail. As a result, the trailer lights may not work when towing a trailer. This problem could also cause the trailer brakes not to work. Note: This recall also affects certain RAM 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cab incomplete vehicles.

Why it matters

Trailer lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the trailer tow module.

Transport Canada lists: Wagoneer 2024–2025

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, covers were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters, and the vertical headlamp adjusters may not be accessible. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally, and may not be adjusted vertically. Canadian regulations don't allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built-in aiming device, and require vertical headlamp adjusters to be accessible.

Why it matters

Headlamps that aren't properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility or glare for oncoming drivers, and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to repair the headlamps.
