What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the stop lamp switch may fail and cause intermittent operation of the brake lights. Failure of the brake lights to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the brake pedal mount could fail during a vehicle crash. As a result, the driver would not be able stop a vehicle still in motion after a crash by applying the brakes. This could cause a second vehicle crash, which could result in additional property damage and/or personal injury. Note: the vehicle could be immobilized by using the parking brake or slowed by shifting the transmission into Neutral.

Dealers will replace the brake pedal mount.

What is wrong

Certain vehicles fail to comply with CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) are combined with the turn signal lamps in a way that, when the turn signal is switched ON, both DRL lamps are extinguished. This manner of operation is contrary to the requirements of the Standard.
