Transport Canada recall 2019328 · manufacturer campaign L614-R.01.18

2 July 2019

Transport Canada lists: Gallardo 2011–2014

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, an engine software update may have been performed incorrectly. This could cause trouble codes to not be stored when the ignition key is turned off. If a fault was present, this could cause a warning lamp not to light up the next time the engine is started.

Why it matters

A warning lamp that does not turn on may not provide a driver with important information about vehicle safety systems. This could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to update the engine software. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2018-662.
