What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the valve stem for the tires may have been damaged during assembly. As a result, the tires could slowly or suddenly lose air pressure while driving.

Why it matters

A loss of tire pressure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Mazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace all four tire valves with new parts.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the power liftgate may partially lower from the fully open position when the vehicle is parked facing uphill on a slope. The liftgate will not lower all the way to the closed position.

Why it matters

A liftgate that partially lowers suddenly could create a risk of injury.

What the dealer will do

Mazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the power liftgate software. The dealer will also inspect the liftgate drive units and replace them, if necessary.
