Transport Canada recall 2019435

28 August 2019

Transport Canada lists: 3 2020

What is wrong

Certain cars may be missing padding in the rear side trim panels. Without this padding, the cars do not meet Canadian regulations for side-impact protection.

Why it matters

Rear seat passengers may be at a higher risk of injury in a side-impact crash.

What the dealer will do

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install the missing left and right crash pads. People should not be transported in the rear seats until the recall repairs are completed.
