What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the auxiliary water pump (which cools the turbocharger after the engine is turned OFF) can overheat and fail. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the auxiliary water pump. Note: Owners are advised to park the vehicle outdoors until the remedy is applied.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the centrally-located tailpipe extension protrudes slightly beyond the rear bumper. As a consequence, it is possible for inadvertent contact with a person's leg. It the tailpipe is hot during contact, a burn could occur.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the tailpipe extension with a new, shortened version.

What is wrong

Certain vehicles were fitted with brake discs for 16 inch wheels rather than 17 inch wheels. The smaller diameter discs could be exposed to higher thermal loads during braking. If this occurred during conditions of intense brake usage, then braking performance would be reduced. Even though sufficient braking capability would be maintained to slow and stop the vehicle, the risk of a crash still exists.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will inspect brake discs & brake pads and replace them if necessary.
