What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the lower control arms of the front axle may contain a manufacturing defect which could cause the lower control arms to crack. A crack in the lower control arms could impair vehicle handling during spirited driving which could increase the risk of crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the lower control arms with new updated parts. Note: Porsche recommends to customers that the vehicles not be driven on race tracks until the recall remedy has been completed.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, in the event that the seat belt mount and seat belt reel attachment bolts were removed during servicing, they may have been reinstalled in the incorrect location due to an error in servicing literature. This could weaken the seat belt attachment points and potentially allow separation in a crash, increasing the risk of injury and/or property damage.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will inspect the screws and replace if necessary.
