Transport Canada lists: DR 2018

What is wrong

On certain motorcycles, the contacts in the rear stop lamp switch may have poor connectivity due to an issue during manufacturing. This could prevent the stop lamp from illuminating when only the rear brake is applied, which could result in following road users being unaware of the intent of the operator to slow the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will replace the stop lamp switch assembly.
