Why it matters

A light bar that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Tesla will notify owners by email and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange for an inspection of the off-road light bar. Tesla Service will add additional fasteners to secure the light bar or, if necessary, replace the light bar and ensure that it's properly secured.
