Transport Canada recall 2026271 · manufacturer campaign 21D

4 June 2026

Transport Canada lists: Gladiator 2021–2025 · Wrangler 2021–2025

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the connection for the electric hydraulic power steering pump (EHPSP) could become loose. If this happens, the EHPSP connection could overheat and melt.

Why it matters

Wiring that overheats and melts can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.

What the dealer will do

To reduce the safety risk, FCA recommends that you should park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed. FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the EHPSP and the wiring.

18 September 2023

Transport Canada lists: Gladiator 2022–2023 · Wrangler 2022–2023

What is wrong
