Seats And Restraints

Transport Canada recall 2026095 · manufacturer campaign 26S11

3 March 2026

Transport Canada lists: Navigator 2026

What is wrong

Under certain conditions, if the driver's seat is moved and detects an obstruction, the automatic reversal system may cause the seat to move all the way back on the seat track. If this happens, it could cause a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash.

Why it matters

A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the seat control module software.

Lights And Instruments

Transport Canada recall 2026079 · manufacturer campaign 26C10

20 February 2026

Transport Canada lists: Expedition 2022–2026 · F 150 2021–2026 · F 250 2022–2026 · F 350 2022–2026 · and 7 more

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, a software problem with the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may cause the trailer lights not to work when towing. This problem could also cause the trailer brakes not to work on certain vehicles. Note: This problem would cause a "Trailer brake module fault" message to be displayed and turn signal telltale to flash rapidly. This recall also affects certain Super Duty incomplete vehicles.

Why it matters

Trailer lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the ITRM software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.
