What is wrong

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the daytime running lamps (DRLs) to briefly dim during idle stop-start. As a result, the lamps may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations.

Why it matters

Daytime running lamps that dim could create a distraction and cause confusion for others. This could increase the risk of a crash.
