On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing. Note: This recall also affects Grand Cherokee L models and Grand Wagoneer L models.
A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the radio software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at an FCA dealership.

On one truck, the tire pressure label lists the incorrect rear tire pressure information. This could lead you to underinflate the tires and could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects one truck equipped with the enhanced towing option and a 20-inch tire and wheel accessory package.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
What the dealer will do: General Motors will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install a tire label overlay, update the engine control module, inflate the tires to the correct pressure and calibrate the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS).

Structure

On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by an FCA dealer during recalls Y73 and 20A (Transport Canada recall nos. 2021-663 and 2023-090) may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. On certain vehicles, the rear spoiler could hit the body when opening and closing the liftgate. This could damage the spoiler and cause it to detach from the vehicle.
A spoiler that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others.
What the dealer will do: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

On certain vehicles, the connection between the driveshaft and rear differential could wear. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels, or the vehicle could move when it's parked and the parking brake isn't used.
A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also create the risk of an injury or a crash.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, BMW recommends that you should always use the parking brake when you park. BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the connection between the driveshaft and rear differential. The connection will be repaired or, if necessary, the driveshaft and rear differential will be replaced.

Warning lights that don't work could increase the risk of injury for passengers. Exterior lights that don't work could make the bus less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Blue Bird will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to install an in-line fuse on the C and D-Zone wire harnesses. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Blue Bird dealership.
