What is wrong

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the passenger-front airbag to deploy with too much force. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with the AT4X AEV (American Expedition Vehicle) option.

Why it matters

An airbag that inflates with too much force could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.

What the dealer will do

General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the airbag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software.

What is wrong

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the headlamps to flicker.

Why it matters

Headlamps that flicker could cause reduced visibility and could create a distraction for oncoming drivers. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace a module in the headlamp that includes the correct software.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the lock ring that secures the fuel pump to the fuel tank may not have been locked properly. As a result, the lock ring could loosen and create a fuel leak.

Why it matters

A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.

General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, lock the fuel tank lock ring.
