What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the wrong airbag warning labels may have been installed on the driver and passenger sun visors. As a result, the vehicles don't meet the requirements of Canadian regulations.

Why it matters

The airbag warning labels provide information about airbags and child restraint safety recommendations. Not following these recommendations could create an increased risk of injury.

What the dealer will do

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver and passenger sun visors.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument cluster display to go blank while driving. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales.
