Structure

On certain vehicles, the suspension mounting points on the rear subframe could rust. As a result, rear suspension components could fail. This could lead to poor handling and a loss of vehicle control.
A loss of control could create the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and install a rear subframe reinforcement kit or replace the subframe, as necessary.

On certain vehicles, if the tire repair kit nozzle is not properly attached to the tire valve, pressure could build up in the sealant bottle. As a result, excessive pressure could cause the bottle cap to detach.
If the bottle cap detaches, it could increase the risk of injury.
What the dealer will do: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the nozzle on the tire repair kit. If the sealant bottle has been previously used, it will be replaced.

High Voltage

On certain vehicles, the high-voltage battery could fail. If this happens, the high-voltage battery could overheat. Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models.
A high-voltage battery that fails can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, FCA Canada advises that you should not charge your vehicle and to park the vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage battery. The dealer will also install an advanced diagnostic software that will monitor the high-voltage battery and warn you if it detects a problem.

Steering

On certain vehicles, the connection for the electric hydraulic power steering pump (EHPSP) could become loose. If this happens, the EHPSP connection could overheat and melt.
Wiring that overheats and melts can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, FCA recommends that you should park your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed. FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the EHPSP and the wiring.

On a small number of aerial devices, the ground-level emergency stop (E-Stop) may not stop all hydraulic functions.
An aerial device that continues to move after the operator activates the emergency stop could increase the risk of injury.
What the dealer will do: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact Altec Service to inspect and, if necessary, correct the wiring for the emergency stop.

On certain motorhomes, the taillight warning light may turn on even when the taillights are working properly. As a result, the motorhomes don't meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.

What the dealer will do: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the taillight harness.

On certain scooters, the wrong rearview mirrors may have been installed. As a result, the mirrors are missing the "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." warning. Note: This recall only affects certain Officina 8 models.
If the warning is missing, the rider may not be aware that objects reflected in the mirrors appear farther away than they actually are. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Piaggio will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the rearview mirrors.

Seats And Restraints

On a small number of vehicles, the bolts that attach the rear passenger seat belt may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the seat belts could loosen or detach in a crash.
A seat belt that detaches in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
What the dealer will do: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the rear seat belt attachment bolts.
