Transport Canada issued 2 vehicle recalls in the week of 14 September 2026, covering about 2,462 vehicles in Canada. The systems involved: high voltage.

Good news: If one of these covers your vehicle, the repair is almost certainly free. Prenez rendez-vous chez n’importe quel concessionnaire du constructeur et citez le numéro de rappel. Transports Canada écrit lui-même qu’un constructeur « effectuera presque toujours ces réparations gratuitement » : se faire demander de payer pour des travaux liés à un rappel est donc inhabituel et mérite d’être remis en question. Depuis 2018, le ministre des Transports peut ordonner à une entreprise de payer les réparations afin que les propriétaires n’en assument pas le coût.

Transport Canada recall 2026442

On certain vehicles, the DC/DC converter could fail. As a result, the 12 V battery would not charge and a red "Stop Safely Electrical Fault Detected" warning message would be displayed. If this happens, and you continue to drive the vehicle, there could be a loss of power to the wheels and/or the vehicle's lights could turn off. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2026-196. Vehicles repaired under that recall don't require this repair. This recall only affects certain mild hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV).

A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Exterior lights that don't work may make the vehicle less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle load balancing software.
