3 March 2026

Transport Canada lists: F 250 2025–2026 · F 350 2025–2026

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the rear driveshaft may not have been welded properly. As a result, the driveshaft could separate and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall also affects certain incomplete vehicles.

Why it matters

What the dealer will do

Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear driveshaft.

Transport Canada recall 2026079 · manufacturer campaign 26C10

20 February 2026

Transport Canada lists: Expedition 2022–2026 · F 150 2021–2026 · F 250 2022–2026 · F 350 2022–2026 · and 7 more

What is wrong

On certain vehicles, a software problem with the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may cause the trailer lights not to work when towing. This problem could also cause the trailer brakes not to work on certain vehicles. Note: This problem would cause a "Trailer brake module fault" message to be displayed and turn signal telltale to flash rapidly. This recall also affects certain Super Duty incomplete vehicles.

Why it matters

Trailer lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible and cause following drivers not to recognize that the vehicle is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of trailer brakes could increase the risk of a crash.

What the dealer will do

Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the ITRM software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.

Transport Canada lists: F 250 2025 · F 350 2025 · F 450 2025

What is wrong

On certain trucks, the steering column assembly may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the shifter could detach from the steering column. If this happens, you may not be able to shift the transmission into the park ("P") position, and the truck could move if the parking brake isn't applied. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2025-133. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair.

Why it matters

A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash.

What the dealer will do

Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering column.
