What is wrong

Certain vehicles equipped with an anti-lock brake system (ABS) and without electronic stability control (ESC) may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 105 - Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems. The brake system indicator tell-tale may not illuminate during the lamp function check when the ignition is initially turned to the “ON” (run) position, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard.

What the dealer will do

Dealers will correct the coding of the instrument cluster software.
