What is wrong

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument cluster not to work. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, indicator lamps, and warning messages. In addition, the warning sounds may not work.

What is wrong

On certain vehicles equipped with front swivel-seats, the wiring harness under the seat may not be properly secured. As a result, the airbag wires could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the side airbag may not work properly in a crash. Note: If the wiring to the side airbag is damaged, the SRS light will stay on in the instrument cluster.

An airbag that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the routing of the seat wiring harness and attach it correctly.
