What is wrong

On certain electric vehicles, the reverse sound of the pedestrian warning system may not be loud enough. Canadian regulations require electric vehicles to make a minimum sound level when operating at low speeds. Note: This recall only affects certain eSprinter models.

Why it matters

A pedestrian warning system that isn't loud enough could create an increased risk of injury for other road users.

What the dealer will do

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the pedestrian alert sound software.
