What is wrong

THESE VEHICLES MAY CONTAIN FRONT SUSPENSION CAM BOLTS WHICH MAY FAIL DUE TO ASSEMBLY MISALIGNMENT WHICH COUULD CAUSE THE BOLT TO BEND AND POSSIBLY CRACK DURING INSTALLATION. FAILURE OF THE BOLT MAY CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO PULL TO ONE SIDE WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. THIS COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.

What the dealer will do

FRONT SUSPENSION CAM BOLTS, CAM WASHERS AND NUTS WILL BE REPLACED WITH COMPONENTS OF A DIFFERENT DESIGN.

What is wrong

THE RETAINER CLIP THAT SECURES THE MASTER CYLINDER INPUT ROD TO THE BRAKE PEDAL MAY NOT BE PROPERLY INSTALLED, POSSIBLY PREVENTING FULL CLIP ENGAGEMENT. THIS COULD RESULT IN THE INPUT ROD SEPARATING FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL WITH SUBSEQUENT LOSS OF SERVICE BRAKES.

VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED FOR PROPER CLIP INSTALLATION AND IMPROPERLY INSTALLED CLIPS WILL BE REPLACED.
