On certain trucks, the wiring harness for the driver's and/or passenger's seat ventilation system may not have enough protection and could become damaged. As a result, the wiring harness(es) could short circuit.
A short circuit can create the risk of a fire.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, PACCAR advises you not to use the seat ventilation functions until recall repairs have been completed. PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the wire harness(es), as necessary.

On certain vehicles, the circuits for the exterior lighting may not have proper circuit protection. As a result, the wiring and components could overheat and melt, and the exterior lights may not work.
Wiring and/or components that overheat and melt can create the risk of a fire. Exterior lights that don't work could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk, Lucid advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. Lucid will notify owners by mail. Lucid has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, Lucid encourages you to do so. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center. There is no further action needed if your vehicle has software version 2.10.0 or a later release.

On certain fire trucks, the hydraulic valve for the outriggers could fail. If this happens, the outriggers may not work properly.
Outriggers that don't work properly could delay emergency response and increase the risk of injury.
What the dealer will do: E-ONE will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your fire truck to a dealership to replace the hydraulic valve for the outriggers.

On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the rearview camera and could cause the rearview camera image not to display correctly or at all. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a standard rearview camera.
A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rearview camera.

On certain vehicles, the low beam headlights may be too bright. Canadian regulations specify a maximum brightness for low beam headlights.
Low beam headlights that are too bright could cause reduced visibility for the driver and/or glare for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
What the dealer will do: Tesla will notify owners by email. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

On a small number of aerial devices, the boom stow switch wiring could become damaged. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit and melt.
A short circuit and/or wiring that overheats can create a fire risk.
What the dealer will do: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions and a kit for how to inspect and, if necessary, install a guard to protect the wiring. If the wiring is damaged, it will be replaced.

On certain infant car seats, the screw(s) that attach the carry handle to the sides of the car seat could loosen over time. If this happens, the carry handle could detach.
A carry handle that detaches could increase the risk of injury.
What the dealer will do: To reduce the safety risk Britax advises that you should only lift or carry the seat by the shell until the recall repairs have been completed. Britax will notify registered owners in writing and provide you with instructions on how to request a remedy kit.
